Passphrase — Privacy Policy

Passphrase does not collect, transmit, or share any data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no network access of any kind beyond what iOS itself uses (e.g. Siri/Shortcuts routing your request to the app).

What's stored, and where

• Generated passphrases are created on-device and never leave it. They are shown once and, unless you explicitly save or commit them, are not stored anywhere.
• Vault entries (passphrases you choose to save) are stored in the iOS Keychain, on-device only, protected by Face ID or your device passcode. They are not synced to iCloud or any server.
• Training records store only a cryptographic hash of a passphrase you've committed to memory, used to check your recall during practice — never the passphrase itself.
• App settings (e.g. word count, Face ID requirement, a short list of mnemonic topics you've saved) are stored locally via iOS UserDefaults.

Third parties

None. No SDKs, no crash reporting, no analytics libraries are included in the app.
